Day 01 By KB : DEL/KTM – PBH Arrival at Paro. PM drive to Thimphu. Upon arrival visit Tashichhodzong. Alt. 2200m.

Day 02 Thimphu – Punakha/Wangdue AM visit National Memorial Chorten, Changangkha temple, National Library and School for Arts and Crafts. PM visit weekend market. Then, drive to Punakha/Wangdue across Dochula Pass. Distance = 70 kms. Alt. 1300m.

Day 03 Punakha/Wangdue – Jakar AM drive to Chendebji Chorten where picnic lunch will be served. Drive to Trongsa and visit the Dzong. Thereafter, drive to Jakar. Distance = 198 kms/ 8 hrs. Alt. 2600m.

Day 04 Jakar Festival AM attend the festival at Jakar Dzong. Religiou masked dances are perely performed by the monks of Jakar. There are folk dances during intervals. PM visit Kurjey and Jambey temples.

Day 05 Jakar – Ura valley AM witness the dances. PM excursion to Ura valley and visit a temple and some farm houses. Distance = 110 kms/ 5 hrs round trip.

Day 06 Jakar – Wandguephordang/Punakha AM drive to Trongsa and then to Chendebji Chorten where picnic lunch will be served. PM drive to Wangduephordang. Distance = 198km/8 hrs.

Day 07 Wangduephordang/Punakha full day AM drive to Punakha and visit the Dzong. Thereafter, take a short hike to Khamsum Yuele Namgyal Chorten. PM drive to Talo village or hike to Daleyda monastery.

Day 08 Wangdue/Punakha - Thimphu AM drive to Thimphu and visit Simtokha Dzong. PM visit textile museum, various handicrafts shops and after 5:00 visit Tashichhodzong.

Day 09 Thimphu - Paro AM drive to Paro. PM visit National Museum and Paro dzong.

Day 10 Paro full day (Taktshang monastery) AM visit Kyichu temple, followed by visit to Drugyal Dzong(ruined fort). Then, hike to Taktshang monastery till the view point.

Day 11 By KB : PBH – KTM/DEL Early morning Druk Air flight to Katmandu or Delhi.

Entry / Exit can also be arranged through Bagdogra (India).
